Dressin’ Emo - Emo Fashion
What do you get when you combine punk with Goth? The Emo look is the answer to that question and although it is branching out as a style of its own, it was predominantly started by the procreation of these two looks.

Dressing Emo is always a reflection of the mood that the individual is currently experiencing. For those that are currently feeling sad and somber, the look is almost always black but for those that are in a happier mood, there can be random injections of color such as neon pink, green or blue. This flash of color is normally in the way of spots or stripes but skulls, owls, spiders and crosses can all be the colored pattern of choice.

T-Shirts should almost always be adorned with a band logo somewhere and if this is not possible then a great slogan with a depressing theme is normally worn. The top itself is ideally slightly too small, especially for the lads and these should be combined with the tightest jeans that you can find. Drainpipe and skinny jeans are normally the desired garment and these should be black or very, very dark blue.

Accessories are something that an Emo kid can play around with but a studded belt is a must have accessory for any Emo kid that wants to be taken seriously. Combined with this, studded gloves that are fingerless are a great option as well as scarves adorned with skulls and other offbeat patterns with those plastic neon bracelets that were fashionable in the punk era.
