During the last few years Emo culture and society gained big popularity, Emo fashion is being given serious importance by leading apparel manufacturers and mega stores. Many fashion and apparel brands are introducing clothing, shoes, sunglasses and other accessories for Emo boys, girls and kids. Most significance is given to Emo teenagers and especially Emo Girls fashion.

Emo girls fashion starts with wearing dark or bold colored armbands or bracelets. You can see Emo girls with crap Jeans, T shirts with slogans, skirts and dark colored tight shirts. Clothes are normally hand-sewn with multiple fabrics. Emo girls normally wear scarf with various shades mostly dark, they usually put on simple facial jewelry and body piercings. Emo also girls prefer home crafted wooden accessories and like to wear vintage shoes and jackets. Emo girls normally go for backpacks, shopper bags, thick or horn-rimmed sunglasses and other accessories that are generally non conformist. Depending upon the individuality there could be minor variations in the fashion.

Emo fashion goods can be easily purchased at many retail merchandisers. Internet sale for Emo fashion accessories has also increased. There are number of online sites auctioning shirts, skirts, jeans, sunglasses, jewelry, shoes, and jackets for Emo girls.

as an emo myself i get offended when people think that emo is all about cutting wrists and being depressed 24/7. but that is just what some emos are like. most emos are happy and really cool people like me. It’s almost like a whole new culture on it’s own, the population of us is growing. by next year imagine how much there will be then. hahaha. lol. Yes i do admit to being depressed lately but it’s not because im emo. emos are my fave thing atm. its really awsome being one because you just feel like you can express yourself through what you wear and how u wear your make up. It’s Great!!

hey i agree with chyeah (btw i love you name hahahha) some emos are like thae happiest people i have ever met in my life. people call me emo but really i am not thats just the way i look but not who i am like i have never slit my wrist or cryed 24/7 so i really dont no why people think we are like that

I totally agree with the previous comment. I’m not emo but i find it 2 be a cool fashion and just being different from evey1 else is great (which is what we need 2 be). Yes i do get depressed but who doesn’t and thats not the reason i wanna be emo. Some emo kids r like that with sliting there wrists but not all r…its like saying all rich people r snobs. But anyways i’m definetly gonna go with the emo style and 4 the people that hate and wanna kill emos….just remember that they r really kool, and 4 u 2 wanna be that hipacritical and mean….well thats ur problem. EMOS RULE AND I’M NOT AFRAID 2 SAY IT!!! lolz

i agree with allora.antagonistic my friends and i are some of the loudest and happiest emos on the planet and even though we have lost one of our number due to moving circumstances we are still making all the noise we can!

i totally agree with all the comments. as an emo i often get offended when people shout wrist-slitter and stuffs like that. emos are genraly happy people who deserve to be known as a happy culture not a depressing slit-wrist culture. emos just express themselves diffrently from everyone else. if thats how we choose to dress then let us dress like it. if you have problems with emos then fine but keep it to yourself cuz emos are happy, fun, hyper and loud people. EMOS FOREVER xxx

Haha. I agree to being offened. But with me people call me emo cause I am a cutter. I cry but not 24/7. I cry like when im really fraustrated. I am emo but I dont look it. Since I can’t really afford the things I want. :]] I look average and plain. Yet im emo. :]

it’s just so sad that what peepz only remember are the depressed ones… i mean, cutting your wrist isn’t a requirement and stuff. if peepz call emo stuff “shit”… then i’d rather stink for the rest of my life than be locked in my emotions..you guys just gotta face it. emo stuff is nice. i mean, listen to the emo music, and especially the heartfelt lyrics, it just proves how we deserve to be looked up to. even the clothes are irresistible. i shouldn’t say we rule among other kinds, but we don’t deserve the criticisms. i’m tired of explaining to peepz that i’m not that desperate. over and over again. but then again… why should i care?? ;]

Really I think the only person I know that completely agree with me on what emo is, is my brother JT.He is not really my brother but he understands.I have been called Emo shit,Emo cry baby,Stupid Emo but really I dont care.My Brother Jt and I know this one girl at our school who looks like she is completely happy,like me,but really is falling apart.She hides the fact that she is in pain.I dont cut myself but people call e that because I love the color black,I cry way to uch,and the fact I isolate myself.The only reason I do it so I will left alone.Even if I look happy people still call all that crap.
