How can you all label yourself ‘emo’ as in.. “I’m emo and I don’t cut” It’s so pathetic. You don’t need to label yourself anything. All you do is give yourself what you perceive to be a sense of belonging. You just needa realise that you can’t be yourself if you say ‘I’m emo’ and wanna fit in with the clique. I agree, the emo style is pretty radtastic.

But it just pisses me off when people say ‘I’m emo, I’m utterly offended to this joke.’ Because it’s pathetic.. I mean you go and say.. ‘I’m emo and I’m proud’ If you were, you would be able to laugh at a silly meaningless joke. Orrr “I hate those chavs that judge and call me emo, what do they know about my life?” Because well you call yourself emo, so wtf are you on about?

And grrr if you wanna say ‘I’m emo’ then own up to it.. You already know that the emo stereotype has what people make of it, ie wrist slitting, supposedly suicide, depressing music ect. I don’t think that any of this is emo.. But the stereotype is made up of people who judge against it, just like you judge chavs and preps..

So if you say ‘I’m emo’ I think you deserve any kind of critism because it’s just pathetic to try and belong to a clique, but declare your independance and own way of thinking if it’s just like every other lost teenage soul who’s trying to find somewhere they belong.

Sorry, but it’s just annoying..
