Emo Band - Fall Out Boy is a pop punk band from America which originated from Wilmette in Illinois in the year 2001. This band consists of Pete Wentz (backing vocals, bass guitar and primary lyricist), Patrick Stump (rhythm guitar, lead vocals and primary composer), Andy Hurley (percussion and drums) and Joe Trohman (guitar). The band has managed to win many awards for the album ‘From Under the Cork Tree’. Launched in 2005, this album has got a status of double platinum by selling over 2.5 million copies in the US.

Supporting this album, the band has headlined tours during 2005 and 2007 in Canada, Europe, Japan and US
While the band has been widely considered as a pop punk band, it is also described as an Emo group. The main songwriters of the band are Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump but it traditionally credits the entire band as the songwriters.

Their albums are said to have both punk rock and pop punk influences and sounds and ‘Infinity on High’, their latest work, features a huge range of instrumentation and styles, including choral and orchestral arrangements. The band has also shown that it is open for experimentation as it has also worked with artists and producers of hip hop including Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Timbaland.
