FFTL or From First to Last is a post hardcore emo band from USA. This band was initiated in 1999 by Matt Good, Scott Oord and Steve Pullman in Brandon, Florida. At the beginning the name of the band was “First to Last” but after a year they added a prefix “From” with their band name. The debut EP was released in 2003 with the title Aesthetic. The band signed Epitaph Records, a music company at the end of 2003.
In 2005 the band started a co-tour with Emanuel and Halifax which lasted from May to mid June. Their second album was produced by Ross Robinson and was recorded in California. The second album was released in 2006 because of some disputes in the band. The first week sale of this album was more than 32,000.
After seeing the popularity of this band, the major brand music houses approached the band, but the band decided to join the Capitol Records. In 2007 lead singer Moore left the band. This was shocking news for the band and their producers. After this shocking news was reveled to the public, the Capitol Records canceled the contract.
