Hairstyle Tips for Emo Girls in the year 2008 by Emo Styles

For all you emo girls out there, 2008 is your year. It is time to let yourself be free. Emo hairstyles are not your average hairstyle where you have to go to the salon and get it cut perfectly and wash and condition your hair constantly. Emo hairstyles let you be you. They let you express yourself through your hair. If you are messy and just don’t care, go with the shag style, if you want to show your sexy yet hardcore personality, straighten your hair with your bangs slightly covering your eyes to give you that touch of mystery.

Also, pick your favorite color for 2008 and express it in your hair. Whether it be platinum blond high lights, large chunks of pink streaks or half your head blue and the rest orange to represent your dual personality, go for it. 2008 is open for free expression and liberty for you emo girls!

Emo is normally expressed with bangs off to the side, dark hair with bright colored streaks or highlights and your hair parted to the side. Most emo girls have long hair and use organic shampoos to help them get the length they are looking for with layers. Don’t be afraid to be yourself in 2008.

I think that there should be more pictures of the emo hairstyles and there should be more pictures instead of having little of pictures I like the website there is alot of good stuff on the sight but it does not really look like a emo sight but i am getting a lot of good tips from the sight but remember maybe you should get more pictures for people would not have to take up there time trying to find a picture of a emo persons haircut because i am going emo and i do not know what i should do with my hair because it is shoulder length and i f..king seriously do not know what i should do because i want to be f..king emo and what thee f..k should i do

im wanting to have like, really short hair that has a ful fringe but with layers and goes to the side, but covers my whole forhead… i also want to dye my hair again and i might go purple again,, but i dont know i quite fancy a change tbh,, any ideas? (YN)

i still cant see how people get their hair to be frizzy like the girl with the blue hair
i have the hair that i straiten and it covers my eyes, and has alot of layers like that, but i cant get it to look like that with the fringe and stuff,
i want it to tho…any ideas how?

i am skater/punk, and i want an emo shag but i need color highlight ideas. HELP!! i totally agree with candy, more pics would def help, i love the colors of the girl in the second pic but i cant really tell what they are. so it’ll be hard to describe it to my hair stylist, so more pics would be great!!!

i reely like this sight..helps me wif meh look.=] ppl if you want more pictures you shud probly go to google err sumthn and look up “emo hairstyles” under images, cuz i dont think they are gunna put more pictures up. also to get the frizzy look, Marena, you have to tease your hair and if you don’t know how to do that then i’d recommend you go to youtube and look up “how to do emo hair.”

ok…so my hair iz a kinda brownish color with natural blond highlights…i want to get the tips of my hair red and i have this one piece of hair that is long on the side of my face and im going to get it died blue….and than my bangs are going to be pink…and my hair is layered and everything but when i go2 style it….it doesnt get the frizz kinda look i want it too…..>=[

My mom and dad hate emo and they won’t let me dye my hair black or wear what I want. Can I have advice PLZ? Even when I buy my own clothes they get all pissed off. You should have seen them when I pierced my eyebrow. Like its a crime to be emo in grade 7. I love this site.

emo_girl, what i would do is go buy permanent black hair dye and dye my hair before my parents found it. once they see it, theyll be extremely mad, but they cant exactly make you stop going to school, and unless they want to pay to get a professional to take the dye out….(;
ive done it, except with a really dark red. it worked with mine. just have to be willing to accept the fact you wont get any money from them for a while(:
