Emo is in this year. 2008 has been seeing more and more emo girls and boys walking the streets and we are encouraging more to come out. Sometimes you may want to portray a cool emo do that you say but you just do not know how to pull it off. Have no fears. This article will tell you exactly what to do for you emo girls!
Tip 1
Grow out your hair. It should be at least past your chin, but the longer the better.
Tip 2
Get a hair cut. Layers are great to express emo styles, but most importantly you will need bangs. Do not worry they will not be covering your forehead, like when you were in the second grade.
Tip 3
Adding Color. Most emo girls have dark locks and colorful highlights or streaks. Many go with pink streaks while others like more low key emo coloring so they have black hair with dark blue or plum highlights. Depending on the colors that work for you, go for it.
Tip 4
Parting. After you style your hair, curly, wavy, straight, part your hair about 1 ¼ from the center of your head and have your bangs flow over to the side that you prefer.

Setting. Set your hair with hairspray and voilá, you are ready to show off your new emo girl hairdo.

Wow this actually helped me a little, but d thing is i have curly hair n i dont know how 2 style it very well, n well i dont have bangs yet, but i wonder if theyre going 2 look bad, if somebody can help me, n maybe show me some pics of how i should style it, it would help alot thax!
