How to Create an Emo Hairstyle in 2008 for Boys, Emo Styles
If you are an Emo Boy or converting into one, your hair is going to be a major asset as to how you are going to express yourself. Here are a few styling tips for you to achieve that perfect emo boy hairdo.
Tip 1 - Growing your hair
Depending on how long your hair is, you may have to grow it out. It should be at least to the length of your chin. If it is not, you will have to grow it out. This will help to shape your face.
Tip 2 – Straightening your hair
You can either chemically treat your hair (expensive) and you will have to go to a salon or you can pick up a decent hair straightener. The more expensive it is, the better it is, but you do not need a $100 straightener you can probably just steal your sisters.
Tip 3 – Cutting your hair
You are going to need to cut your hair so that you do not have a dull, same length do. Give your hair personality with angles and maybe even some layering to give your hair personality and dynamic.
Tip 4 – Coloring your hair
Depending on your hair color you may be able to skip this step. Emo boys normally have brown, black or blonde hair. They, unlike the girls, have little additional coloring such as highlights and streaks, yet some do. This is a personal style preference.
Tip 5 – Express yourself
After the four previous tips, all you have to do is give your hair your personal touch and hit the streets. You are ready to be seen in 2008!
