Music for the Emo Kids

Music for the Emo Kids

Music is an essential factor over whether or not a kid is Emo. You can have the right clothes, accessories and makeup and even the right attitude but without the right taste in music, the style just will not be complete.

Two of the biggest bands that have been associated with the Emo style are that of “My Chemical Romance” and “Panic! At the Disco.” These bands have very thought of lyrics which are sad and somber in nature and fit the emotional side of Emo perfectly. There are both upbeat and slower songs that have come from both of these bands proving that the Emo lifestyle is not all about sadness and depression.

“Fallout Boy” is another group which has been closely linked with the Emo lifestyle as are “Funeral of a Friend” and “Paramore.” The latter of the two has a female lead singer that is very typical of the Emo style but with bright red hair rather than black.

If you are a beginner to Emo music then these bands would be the great place to start and from this starting point you can then go ahead and find your own favorite bands. Of course you can always communicate with friends and other Emo followers on the internet to find out the best bands that everyone of the Emo life seems to be following but it is always best to find your own path and your own style of music.
